Benefits of Enterprise Risk Management: A Systematic Review of Literature

Objective: In an enhanced climate of risk complexities, the firm's stakeholders desire a management framework that promises benefits efficiencies, transparencies, and solutions for interrelated risks. Enterprise (ERM) is widely seen as suitable instrument to address these issues. However, not all are convinced ERM's benefits. This necessitates review extant literature collating it generate insights. paper reviews articles on ERM from finance domain catalogs ERM. Methodology/Technique: 129 addressing It examines academic disciplines journals publishing studies by looking into their H Indices, SJR scores, ABDC rankings assess impact acceptability among scholars. The research analyzed subject domains, geographic scope, methodology used in exploring relationship between adoption its firm. Collating reviewing enables mitigation data gaps. These were primarily accounting, finance, management, corporate governance, strategy domains. Findings: Improved cost-effectiveness, earnings stability, increased profitability, improved decision making, better communication, competitive advantage, resource allocation, firm value, performance key identified this study.
